The Z.SP-15 is a dedicated drain valve for 1/2" central heating pipework, fitted at the lowest point of a circuit so the system can be emptied for maintenance, repairs or a radiator swap without draining the whole installation blind.
The ball itself is chrome-plated brass sealed with PTFE, so it turns smoothly and holds a bubble-tight shut-off even after standing closed for long periods. The compression nut end is not just for tool-free fitting — it also compensates for small misalignments in the existing pipe run, which matters on a drain point that is often awkward to reach.
