The Adex ADS108GRP-1PO is a direct successor to the popular AD1000-8GPDM. It is a web smart manageable gigabit switch with reverse PoE functionality, housed in a very compact metal body. It features eight gigabit ports, seven of which have PoE-in and one POE-out function. With the Power over Ethernet feature, ports 1 to 7 can automatically detect and receive power using passive PoE. In this case, power is transmitted together with data in a single cable. This allows you to extend the network quite easily in places where no power outlets are available or, for example, when repairing the AP. The maximum voltage is 48V. The switch also has a power jack connector, designed for example for powering GPON OLT, the output voltage is 12V. Unlike its predecessor, this switch is equipped with a Broadcom chipset. The firmware has been improved based on customer requests, especially from ISPs. It includes the requested No PoE - No Data feature. The switch makes it very easy to power up when installed in hallways while providing broadband access for the average home or small business that already has cables running in the building, for example.
