The Arduino Ethernet Shield will allow Arduino Nano, Mega 1280/2560 or
Duemilanove 168/328 Internet connection. Can not be used separately.

It is compatible with Arduino IDE libraries.
The module can be used as a server or a client.

Basic Characteristics:
- It uses the Wiznet 5100 Ethernet chip, which allows the use of both TCP and UDP protocols. The "Ethernet library" can be used for programming.
- Connection to the network via a standard RJ-45 connector.
- Includes a reset button (both kit and shield reset).
- It also includes a MicroSD memory card slot that can be used for data transfer over the network. It is compatible with all Arduino/Genuino kits. An "SD Library" is accessible for the SD card reader.
