The A86 6V/12V 15A rectifier is the first battery charger on the market with a microprocessor control system using PWM technology with the ability to charge batteries up to 6V and 12V and the ability to select non-standard battery voltage types. Thanks to the intelligent parameter setting, it allows the regeneration of a discharged battery.

Intelligent operating modes

Constant Voltage : Using a constant voltage to charge the battery, checking that the charging current is not too high and reducing it during the process.
Constant Current : Indicates that the battery voltage is lower than the voltage set by the charger, but the charger will maintain a constant battery charging current.
Sustaining charge modulation : When the battery voltage approaches the set voltage and the charging current is low to the set current, it will switch to floating charge modulation mode. This means that the battery is charged, but is constantly checked for voltage drop and automatically recharged with AC current.
Floating Charge Modulation : The mode will keep the battery fully charged.
Protective functions

Overheating protection : When the charger temperature exceeds 150°C, the charger stops charging. When the temperature drops to 80°C or the charger switches off for about 10 minutes, the battery can be recharged.
Short circuit protection : When a short circuit occurs in the circuit, the operation will stop automatically. This will be indicated by a long audible signal. Then connect it carefully to restart the automatic charging.
Reverse connection protection : If the terminals ( +/- ) are accidentally connected in reverse, the charger signals this with an intermittent long beep. As soon as the terminals are correctly connected, charging takes place again.
Charging process

The charging process of the charger is based on a pulse charging system - charging for 5 seconds, then interrupting the charging for 1 second will cause most of the oxygen generated during the charging to become electrolyte. This method not only reduces gas generation, but the rectifier can also repair a sulfated battery.
When the charge indicator shows 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%, it shows the battery percentage:
Blinking - when the battery capacity is too low, the charger will alert you when the display voltage is too low by blinking. Once the charger has repaired the battery, it will display the normal charge level again.
Audible alarm - When the battery is fully charged, a cyclic beep sounds every minute.
When you start the charger, by default it switches to smart charging mode. Each time you charge, this product will scan and test the battery. When the battery is tested, the battery will be displayed on the screen. After a while, the rectifier will go into (repair, maintenance, or upkeep) mode.
