Observe the prescribed tightening torque of the connecting contacts of 8Nm. Exceeding it may damage the internal contacts and cause the disconnector to fail.
It is imperative that the internal capacitors of devices such as inverters, inverter/chargers or MPPT solar controllers are safely pre-charged before the Battery Disconnector is switched on. This procedure prevents arcing due to high current and damage to the internal contacts of the battery disconnector.
