BRADAS-Fast coupling 1" WHITE LINE WL-2161 POWER JET

Product detailed description

This quick coupling is commonly used in garden and irrigation systems where rapid connection and disconnection of hose segments or accessories is required. Installers working on residential or commercial outdoor water systems will find this coupling useful for connecting to water sources, nozzles, or other hose fittings. The coupling is designed for straightforward integration into 1 inch hose systems, supporting efficient workflow during installation or maintenance.

The dual-end mounting feature allows the coupling to be attached to both ends of a hose, eliminating the need for additional fittings when connecting to accessories or other hose segments. This makes it particularly suitable for systems requiring frequent reconfiguration or extension. The coupling is intended for use with standard 1 inch garden hoses and compatible accessories.

Technical parameters

Installation and connection

Installation involves securing the coupling to both ends of a 1 inch garden hose. Ensure the hose is clean and free of debris before fitting the coupling. The coupling is designed for push-fit or snap-on installation, depending on the hose type. A common mistake is failing to fully seat the coupling on the hose, which can lead to leaks or disconnection during use. Always check for secure attachment and test the connection under low pressure before full operation.

Compatibility and accessories

This coupling is compatible with standard 1 inch garden hoses and accessories such as nozzles, sprinklers, or extension hoses. For optimal performance, ensure that all connected components are also rated for 1 inch hose connections. No additional fittings or adapters are required when using with compatible hose ends. No related products are specified for this coupling.

Technical background for designers

The coupling operates on a push-fit or snap-on principle, allowing for rapid connection without the need for tools. The material is selected for durability and resistance to common garden hose conditions. The dual-end design ensures that the coupling can be used as a central connection point for multiple hose segments or accessories. The coupling's performance is influenced by the hose material and the frequency of use, with regular inspection recommended to maintain system integrity.

Service and operation

Periodic inspection is recommended to ensure the coupling remains securely attached to the hose. Check for signs of wear, deformation, or leakage during routine maintenance. If the coupling becomes loose or damaged, it should be replaced to prevent system failure. No specific service intervals are provided in the technical data.
