The cleaning pen is a simple tool for cleaning ferrules with a diameter of 1.25 mm. The pen allows to clean ferules in devices or connectors in connectors, BUT using the supplied product also LC/MU connectors directly on fibers or patch cords. Insert the cleaning pen into the adapter/connector and 1 press to clean the ferule face - the press ejects and simultaneously rotates the cleaning tape so that the connector face is effectively but gently cleaned. The tape lasts for at least 800 cleanings, after that a new cleaner must be purchased. The extendable part allows cleaning of even hard to reach connectors.
