It is aall stainless steel electric boiler swith a volume of 95 l, drum diameter50 cm, with a drum depth from the heating spiral to the edge48 cm, sautomatic thermostat, equipped withimmersion liner for effective wetting of poultry and the outletvalve for easy water drainage, power 4500 W (220V, 50Hz), product dimensions are61 x 53 x 63 cm.

How does the poultry digester work?

The electric combustion boiler is equipped withautomatic thermostaton which you simplyset the desired temperature. The all stainless steel boiler then not only heats the water to your chosen temperature, but also heats it during its operation at this temperaturestable value constantly maintained.Water at combustion thusmaintains the optimum recommended temperaturewhich ensures easy plucking of poultry without damaging andtearing of the skin. Also included is a handy dipping insert specially designed for easy dipping, removal and alsomore efficient wetting of poultry. The water from the boiler after the poultry is cooked can be easily poured through theoutlet valve.

How to properly steam poultry

Steaming poultry before plucking is very importantto cause the follicles and feather-holding muscles to relax, and the subsequentplucking yesran smoothly without damaging the skin. Each type of poultry requires a different temperature and length of steaming, see table below. Longer immersion times can cause some parts of the meat and skin to cook and this can cause a problem when plucking. The times given are approximate and we deliver during the steaming of the poultry manually to check the possibility of ease of plucking the feathers.

You can also use the poultry boiler for cooking liver, liverwurst, preserves, stew or soup at regular slaughterhouses. However, the boiler must be carefully washed and disinfected before and after use!
