The ZZ-KL15 is a non-return (check) valve: its swinging disc opens freely with forward flow and closes the moment flow reverses, protecting pumps, mixing valves and heat sources from backflow in a central heating installation. The built-in silencer damps the disc's closing action, so it shuts quietly instead of slamming and causing water hammer.

It installs in-line on 1/2" pipework and, unlike a shut-off valve, needs no operating lever — it works automatically in response to flow direction alone.
