The unmanageable 16-port Gigabit switch in a desktop design can be installed in a 19" rack. This product from Cudy features a durable metal chassis with 19" rack installation, matte black color, low power consumption and easy plug-and-play installation. The switch is ideal for home environments or smaller businesses where an existing network needs to be accelerated from 100 Mbps to Gigabit or expanded to connect more devices such as desktops, printers, IP cameras, smart TVs, gaming consoles and more. This switch features a toggle button (Switch / VLAN / Extend) of which the Switch position is the normal function for data transfer, the VLAN position will prevent devices on ports 1-14 from communicating with each other (only towards ports 15 and 16) and the last position Extend will reduce the line speed on ports 1-14 to 10 Mbps and thus allow reaching a distance of up to 250m, ports 15 and 16 will not be affected.
