The Grandstream GXP2140 is a representative yet powerful business IP phone. With a large range of phone numbers, you also can't do without an address book. The phone can work with a remote central phone book, for example in XML or LDAP formats. In this case, it can hold up to 2000 contacts and show up to 500 call history records. Export and import of data can also be done using the USB slot. In combination with the GXP2200EXT expansion module you get the possibility to use BLF buttons with two-colour indication of the line status. In total, you can connect up to 4 modules per GXP2140. Since one module offers up to 40 BLF buttons, you get to a maximum capacity of an impressive 160 BLF buttons. Of course, the phone also supports other features that today's demanding users are used to. These include Bluetooth, which allows you to enjoy the convenience of a wireless headset. The more technical ones then include dual 1Gb/s Ethernet ports, or the Qos function, which prioritises voice packets over normal data traffic, ensuring a perfect result in terms of call sound quality every time. All Grandstream phones offer state-of-the-art security encryption technologies (SRTP and TLS). Combining this phone with Grandstream's UCM Series IP PBX allows the use of the Zero-Config feature, which supports automated service provisioning using a TR-069 configuration file or AES encrypted XML.
