IVAR.UNIMIX - underfloor heating/radiator assembly with cabinet
The IVAR UNIMIX category offers pre-assembled kits for combining underfloor heating with radiator systems. Each kit includes a brass CW617N manifold with integrated three-way mixing valve, circulation pump, and balancing components. These units are designed for use in hydronic heating systems operating at a maximum temperature of +90 °C and pressure rating PN 6. They are suitable for installation in residential or commercial buildings where combined heating methods are required.
Each kit includes a circulation pump module with adjustable bypass, a distributor with flow meters, a collector with closing valves, and mounting accessories such as brackets, emergency thermostats, and venting valves. The internal 3/4" F thread ensures compatibility with standard pipe connections. The kits are available in 2-way through to 12-way configurations to suit different system sizes and layouts.
How to choose
- Select the number of circuits (2-way to 12-way) based on the number of heating zones in the system.
- Verify that the internal 3/4" F thread matches the pipe connections in the installation.
- Ensure the brass CW617N material is compatible with the system’s chemical and thermal environment.
- Confirm the circulation pump model (e.g. DAB.EVOSTA2 40-70/130) meets the required flow and pressure specifications.
Frequently asked questions
Can the circulation pump be controlled separately?
Switching off the circulation pump is not included in the assembly. It must be controlled via an external regulation system or a compatible thermostat such as IVAR.AC 614 E.
What maintenance is required before system start-up?
Before commissioning, especially when combining underfloor and radiator heating, the system must be flushed as per the manufacturer’s instructions. It is also recommended to treat the system with GEL.LONG LIFE 100 to prevent impurity-related issues.
