The new patented design of the FC-30 precision breaker features: - Blade life up to 48,000 cuts - Typical cutting angle <0.5 degrees - Tungsten steel blade with high wear resistance, high hardness and corrosion resistance - Double fixing suitable for perfect fixation of a wide range of optical fibers 250µm ~ 3.0 mm - High precision fabrication by CNC machining with excellent texture - Classic table-top design for simplicity and ease of use Troubleshooting steps in case the refractor does not show correct operation (see image attachment in product gallery): A) checking that the fixing stop is intact when the filament breaks B) checking the position of the fixing rubber washer to eliminate movement of the filament during cutting C) locking screw fixing the setting of the cutting blade of the filament breaker (to be loosened before locking, tightened after setting) D) locking screw for height adjustment of the cutting blade of the breaker (please consult for optimal setting for precise calibration)
