The battery is new and unused. It is fully functional, has been inspected and tested by a technician, and comes with a 24-month warranty. The battery is not cracked; only the plastic is mechanically dented and the box is torn. See the last photo for more details. MHPower Deep cycle VRLA GEL battery with advanced electrolyte bonding technology on silica gel brings a number of indisputable advantages over conventional batteries with liquid electrolyte. The most significant of these are absolute maintenance-free operation over the entire service life, low self-discharge rate, temperature stability, high resistance to deep discharge and subsequent rapid "recovery", reduced impact of vibration and mechanical damage to the gel-fixed plates, no electrolyte layering with all its negatives, and low electrode corrosion and sulfation.

MHPower GE series gel batteries are manufactured with special separators and silica gel immobilizing the electrolyte inside the battery. Proven silica gel technology can improve battery life and performance over a wider temperature range. Deep discharge cycle life is increased by 50% compared to MS series batteries.

Service Life
Cycle life: 500 cycles at 80% discharge, 800 cycles at 50% discharge, and 1,600 cycles at 30% discharge. Service life of 12 years in float charging mode at 20 °C. The battery is suitable for both cyclic operation (discharge-charge) and float charging with a low discharge rate.
