The CRS112-8P-4S-IN is an eight-port Gigabit PoE Router/Switch that offers various PoE-Out power options. In addition to passive PoE, it offers 802.3af/at standards on all eight ports. In addition to the metallic ports, you can use the 4 optical SFP ports to connect devices to the network at speeds up to 1Gbps. Power PoE Out The CRS112-8P-4S-IN has 2 power connectors on its back side. The first 18-28V connector is used to connect the included DC adapter and then other devices connected to the PoE ports can be powered through the CRS using passive PoE. Optionally, a power supply with a voltage range of 48 - 57V can be purchased, then the CRS112 allows you to power devices supporting 802.3af/at standards through the PoE ports. For 24V output power, simply connect the included power adapter. If you need a 48V power supply, you need to purchase a power supply, e.g. GM-4820. If you need to connect a mix of devices that require both types of power supply, you need to have both power supplies connected at the same time!
