The CCR309-1G-8S+ is a very compact yet powerful switch. It is equipped with 8 SFP+ slots that support 10Gbps line rate. The total switching capacity is 162 Gbps and the total non-blocking throughput is 81 Gbps. The device is equipped with 800MHz CPU and 512MB RAM. There is also 1 ETH port, RS232 serial port and can be booted into RouterOS or SwOS. The compact and sleek metal chassis also acts as a heat sink, allowing the device to be cooled only passively - no fan noise or dust suction inside the router.
