The CRS328-24P-4S+RM is a 28-port switch equipped with 24 Gbit Ethernet ports that offer a wide range of POE power output options: passive POE, low-power POE, 802.3af/at (Type 1 POE, Type 2 POE+) with auto-sensing. The switch is built into a 1U rackmount enclosure with an integrated 100-240VAC power supply that provides 500W of power. The device itself has a maximum power consumption of 44W, leaving up to 450W to power the connected POE devices (3x150W for each group of 8 ports). Each port can provide up to 30W of power regardless of the type of POE output. The device has a Dual boot feature that allows you to choose the operating system used - RouterOS or SwOS. If you prefer a simple setup and the ability to set only switching functions, use SwOS. If you would rather take advantage of the L2/L3 capabilities, you will use RouterOS. You can select your desired operating system from RouterOS, SwOS, or the RouterBOOT loader.
