The MikroTik netPower Lite 7R is a reverse PoE switch with 8x Gigabit Ethernet ports, two SFP slots, a DC power connector, a DC terminal block, and two SwOS operating systems. The first 7 LAN ports allow power over PoE IN and the 8th port supports PoE out to power additional devices such as a feeder antenna, camera or another switch. The advantage of reverse PoE is independence from one specific power supply. You can simultaneously power up to 7 devices with up to 7 power adapters via PoE IN or DC jack/socket, however power will only ever be active from one.
