The RBwAPG-60ad is a revolutionary new addition to the MikroTik range that will appeal to any ISP that builds short distance links. RBwAPG-60ad is a complete license-free link in the 60GHz band working with the 802.11ad standard, which in real operation allows throughput up to 1000Mbps Full Duplex and up to 100m distance. As always, the RouterBoard is equipped with the very popular RouterOS operating system with L3 license. In terms of interfaces, the RBwAPG-60ad has 1x Gigabit Ethernet that supports both active (802.3af/at) and passive power (12 to 57V DC) and a DC connector with a range of 12 to 57V DC. The maximum power consumption of the device is only 5W! Device installation Installation of the device is very simple and thanks to the 60° integrated antenna, it can be installed on a wall/mast or directly behind a window using the included plastic stand. Legislation Installation of the link must be carried out in accordance with the applicable general authorisation. The 60GHz band in which the MikroTik RBwAPG-60ad operates precludes permanent outdoor installations. More information can be found on the CTU website.
