The MikroTik hEX S is a compact, powerful and affordable wired router that is the ideal choice for smart homes or smaller offices. The device offers 5 Gigabit ETH ports, with Ether1 supporting PoE-in and Ether5 PoE-out, allowing additional devices to be powered directly from the router. The output voltage at the PoE-out port matches the router's input power. The main advantage, however, is the 2.5G SFP port, which allows the full potential of fast connectivity - for example, to a NAS server or a provider's optical network. The router can be powered via a 12-57V DC connector, via PoE-in in the range of 18-57V or 802.3af/at.
