The RB1100AHx4 is a redesigned model that builds on the foundation of its predecessor, the RB1100AHx2. Unlike the original version, it has a CPU with 4 cores and a frequency of 1400 MHz, thanks to which the packet throughput has been increased to 5.5 million packets per second, the data throughput is up to 7.5Gbps. Despite the high performance, power consumption is only 20W. The router is also newly equipped with IPsec hardware acceleration for even faster encrypted data transfer speeds than any routerboard before. For added reliability, the router has the option of redundant power supply. The router has 2 integrated fully redundant power supplies, as well as a DC terminal block with 20 to 57V range and PoE power option.
