BT location chips play an important role in IoT settings where Bluetooth is used to send data over short distances. You can use these small devices to track various objects. Just attach the tags to the necessary objects and the nearest gateway will recognize them within its range. They can be extremely useful in warehouse logistics. They consume so little power that the single built-in 220 mAh battery lasts for several years. These packets contain the MAC address used for identification, as well as telemetry data such as acceleration, tilt and battery level. The internal version of the TG-BT5-IN chip operates at temperatures from 0°C to 70°C in a splash-proof environment and features a built-in accelerometer. The built-in accelerometers can not only detect acceleration (motion), but can also detect if the device has fallen or tilted at any given time (free fall detection). Using the "Beacon manager" application you will be able to configure the type of advertisement packet, accelerometer parameters (power mode, triggering, data rate, etc.) and update the firmware.
