BT location chips play an important role in IoT settings where Bluetooth is used to send data over short distances. You can use these small devices to track various objects. Just attach the tags to the necessary objects and the nearest gateway will recognize them within its range. They can be extremely useful in warehouse logistics or for tracking all kinds of heavy equipment and materials on a construction site. They consume so little power that the single improved built-in 550 mAh battery lasts for several years. These packets contain the MAC address used for identification, as well as telemetry data such as acceleration, tilt and battery level. The built-in accelerometers can not only detect acceleration (motion), but can also detect if the device has fallen or tilted at any given time (free fall detection). MAC encrypted NFC and optional encryption is available.
