Universal wall mounted optical box for indoor and outdoor use. The optical wall box is used to terminate fiber optic cables in outdoor and indoor installations. This optical box is characterized by a high degree of protection IP65. The surface of the optical wall box is UV resistant. It can be mounted on a pole or directly on the wall using a mounting kit. The optical box allows termination of up to 16 fibers in a combination of 16xSC simplex or 16xLC duplex or 16xE2000 adapters. It includes 2x fiber optic cable entry with rubber cap in mid-span design, i.e. it is possible to terminate even a continuously installed cable without having to break all fibers in the cable harness. The output has 16 holes for patch cables, which are fitted with a rubber cover. When placing the optical patch cable into the box, the rubber cap must be cut lengthwise and pulled back together with the patch cable into the optical box opening. The optical box also includes a horizontal tilting bottom, providing easier handling when terminating and unloading pigtails. The box itself is lockable.
