Other accessories

This category includes sealing components, pipe end closures and system-specific accessories for use with IVAR radiators and thermostatic valves. Products include EPDM O-rings for press fittings, ABS plastic pipe caps for 15–16 mm diameter pipes, and replacement inserts for thermostatic valves. These items are used for sealing connections, adjusting flow characteristics and protecting exposed components in central heating installations.

Items are compatible with IVAR thermostatic heads (T 3000–5000 series), thermostatic valves (VD, VS, VCR, VCD, VCS series) and Vekoluxivar systems. Materials include chromed and nickel-plated brass for fittings, EPDM rubber for seals, and impact-resistant ABS plastic for covers and caps.

How to choose

• Match thread types and dimensions to the system (e.g., 1/2", 3/4", 3/8" connections).
• Select O-rings for press fittings based on pipe size and material compatibility (EPDM is standard for IVAR press systems).
• Choose replacement inserts with or without Kv presetting depending on whether flow adjustment is required during installation.

Frequently asked questions

Can O-rings be used with other press fitting systems?
EPDM O-rings are specific to IVAR press fittings and should not be used with other manufacturers' systems.

What is the difference between single and double pipe caps?
Single caps seal one pipe end, while double caps are designed for two parallel pipe ends with a fixed or adjustable 50 mm spacing.
