IVAR.IVCT, IVCCT - Pipes
This category includes IVAR.IVCT and IVCCT carbon steel pipes, galvanized on both internal and external surfaces. These pipes are designed for use in heating systems, pressurized dry air, inert gas transport, and industrial applications. They are not suitable for potable water distribution. The galvanized coating ensures protection against corrosion and is compatible with external varnish or paint coatings. The pipes are non-flammable and classified as A1 according to DIN 4202-1.
Available in a range of diameters from 15 mm to 108 mm, with wall thicknesses of 1.2 mm, 1.5 mm, or 2 mm, the pipes are supplied in 6 m lengths. They are intended for use with press fittings and require accurate sizing and alignment during installation to ensure a secure connection.
How to choose
- Select the correct outer diameter (e.g., 15 mm, 22 mm, 42 mm) and wall thickness (1.2 mm, 1.5 mm, or 2 mm) based on the system pressure and flow requirements.
- Ensure compatibility with IVAR press fittings and the relevant connection thread type for the application.
- Verify that the system does not require transport of drinking water, as these pipes are not approved for that use.
