Platinum Tools ToneSeeker Tone Tracer is an ergonomic, highly sensitive probe for field professionals. When used in conjunction with any analog tone generator, the ToneSeeker identifies wires and cables without having to make direct metal-to-metal contact with the conductor. Compatible with any analog tone generator, the ToneSeeker produces a clear and loud tone when tracing a cable. Frequency filtering blocks out background noise, and an auto shut-off feature extends battery life. The surface area and shape of the replaceable tip are optimized to detect weak tones and penetrate wire bundles to facilitate wire tracing.
