Plucking wax suitable forcleaning of plucked geese, ducks or other waterfowl, with his helpremove feather residues easily and quicklyso you'll have plucked poultryabsolutely pure. Preparation of jerking wax

The wax is supplied in sheets of approx. 5 kg and for normal plucking we recommend using approx. 15 kg. The plucking wax must first beheat in a water bath (25% wax and 75% water)to 54-57°C preferably in a thermostatic pot that will maintain a constant temperature. Heated wax must not be boiled - boiling does not allow the wax to evenly cover the poultry. At the same time youprepare a second container of cold water.

Plucking wax is only used for finishing, so 50-85% of the feathers must first be removed from the poultry. You can pluck the poultry by hand or use a poultry plucker.

Application

Separate cleaning is carried out by pre-scrapingdip the goose, duck or other waterfowl for a few secondsinto the melted wax, you pull it out, let it drip lightly to drain the excess wax and immediatelycool in a container of cold waterto harden the wax on the poultry. Repeat this as necessary, and thenwax with feather residue simply peeled off the body of the poultry. The ideal thickness of the wax layer should be about 2-3 mm.

After use, you can waxreheat and filter through a sieve so that you canreuse. Beware, the wax solidifies very quickly, so you need to do this process quickly. Protective equipment is required when working with wax - goggles, rubber gloves and an apron!
