The PNI CT26B is a flush-mounted Wi-Fi thermostat that watches the room temperature and switches an electric underfloor heating system or a heating-group pump on and off accordingly. You can set it on the panel itself or from your phone in the Tuya Smart / Smart Life app, wherever you have an internet connection.
In manual mode it tries to hold the set temperature around the clock; in automatic mode it follows a weekly schedule with four periods for each day, so the heating runs only when you actually need it.
The box includes the thermostat, mounting screws and an external floor sensor, so control can be based either on the air temperature in the room or on the floor temperature. The black front panel made of glass and ABS measures 86 x 86 mm and is designed for installation in a wall box.
Installation and compatibility
The thermostat is supplied with 90–250 V AC (50/60 Hz) and its output switches 230 V AC at up to 10 A. It suits electric underfloor heating, circulation pumps, pump and mixing groups of underfloor systems and 230 V solenoid valves. The output is an energised relay, not a dry contact – if you plan to use it with another device, check which type of input that device requires. The Wi-Fi module works on the 2.4 GHz band (802.11b/g/n, WPA2 security). Connection to mains voltage should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Accessories
The floor sensor is included, so there is no need to buy it separately. The thermostat mounts into the PNI modular system, so you need a wall box of the matching size.
Frequently asked questions
Can I control it when I am away from home?
Yes. Once paired with the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app, you can switch it on or off over the internet and change the mode, schedule and some parameters.
Is the floor sensor in the box?
Yes, the external sensor comes together with the thermostat and screws.
What temperatures does it measure?
It measures from 1 to 99 °C, and temperature is set and displayed in 0.5 °C steps. Hysteresis is adjustable between 0.5 and 5 °C and the sensor can be calibrated.
Can the controls be locked?
Yes, there is a key lock (child protection).
