Forprotection against sunlight is the roof of both the chicken coop and the laying nestscovered with a bitumen covering. Nevertheless, we recommend placing the fireplace under a shelter to protect it from rain, snow and extreme sunlight. The wooden fireplace is surface treated with a protective primer. As with all wood, the protective coating needs to be renewed for longer life.Air circulation in the fireplaceis provided by two front doors with wire windows.
