It works with a standard wireless router to create a stronger dual-band connection in hard-to-reach areas, giving you seamless wireless coverage throughout your home or office. Press the WPS button on the router to easily connect to your network, and within 2 minutes, press the Range Extender button on the RE200 signal repeater. Once you are connected through your router, you can simply disconnect and reconnect the RE200 Signal Repeater anywhere within range of your router's wireless network without having to reconfigure. With a separate Ethernet port, the RE200 signal repeater can function as a wireless adapter for connecting wired devices such as Blu-ray® players, game consoles, digital video recorders, and Internet TV.
