The UH-TP-5-24 UltraHorn antenna from RF Elements is a directional antenna for point-to-point solutions with 24dBi gain, a low radiation angle of 11° and is designed for the 5GHz band. The UltraHorn antenna offers all the benefits of conventional directional antennas, plus it eliminates the problems of side lobes, which it nearly eliminates. Zero loss on connectors A so-called TwistPort connector is used to connect the antenna and the radio unit. The TwistPort connector is virtually lossless and changes all established standards due to its easy handling. There are no RF connectors or RF cables that cause significant signal loss. Compared to commonly used coaxial cables and connectors, the loss on the TwistPort is almost unmeasurable. Connecting and disconnecting is ingeniously simple and can be done with one hand.
