The installation cable with the designation SXKD-5E-FTP-PE-SAM is a self-supporting outdoor shielded CAT5E cable with polyethylene sheath. The cable is designed for outdoor installations where conventional PVC or LSOH sheathed data cable does not provide sufficient protection against environmental influences. This cable is also equipped with a supporting steel wire placed in separate insulation, which allows the cable to be used as self-supporting, up to a distance of 70m. The Solarix outdoor cable, designated SXKD-5E-FTP-PE-SAM, easily meets and exceeds the requirements defined in the international standards TIA/EIA 568, EN 50173 and ISO 11801 for CAT5E. It is therefore also suitable for the most demanding protocols for structured cabling (e.g. Gigabit Ethernet). The Solarix outdoor cable jacket is black in colour and its temperature resistance ranges from -20 to 70°C. The supplied package is 305 m on a wooden spool. The cable is marked with a meter mark at 1 m intervals.
