Made from a mixture of sorted light and dark peat, perlite, finely crushed zeolite and a clay component. A combination of organic and mineral fertiliser is used to fertilise the substrate, while the substrate is enriched with seaweed.

Profík - substrate for chilli peppers and peppers is made from a mixture of sorted light and dark peat, perlite, finely crushed zeolite and clay component. A combination of organic and mineral fertiliser is used to fertilise the substrate and the substrate is enriched with seaweed. The organic fertiliser contains all major nutrients and trace elements. The mineral fertiliser supplies the plants with nitrogen and water-soluble calcium. The soil reaction is modified with finely ground dolomitic limestone.

Substrate advantages:

The composition of the substrate ensures good air access to the roots and also a very good water and nutrient retention.
Perlite ensures a high airiness of the substrate, makes the substrate lighter and at the same time regulates soil moisture.
The finely crushed zeolite improves water management, aids ammonium nitrogen fixation and, thanks to its high nutrient-attracting capacity, limits the possibility of nutrient loss through leaching
the clay particle content helps to retain water, attract nutrients and stabilise pH
the organic fertiliser used is in the form of a micro granulate, which guarantees a much more efficient distribution of the fertiliser in the substrate.
The organic fertiliser is made from a wide range of feedstocks, thus achieving a uniform and long-lasting release of nutrients.
Nitrogen in mineral form is very readily available to plants and the water-soluble calcium contained in the fertiliser has a significant effect on healthy plant growth and development (reducing the incidence of calcium deficiency diseases, e.g. rot on peppers and other calcium deficiency related problems)
Seaweed contains, in addition to a complex spectrum of nutrients in a readily acceptable form, a wide range of biologically active substances, including plant hormones from the auxin and cytokinin groups
