The MC210CS is a media converter designed to convert media from 1000BASE-LX/LH optical line to 10/100/1000BASE-T metallic line and vice versa. Designed to IEEE802.3ab 10/100/1000Base-T and IEEE802.3z 1000Base-LX/LH standards, the MC210CS media converter is intended for use with single-mode fiber optic cable with SC-type connectors. The MC210CS media converter supports the Long Wave Laser (LX) specification at maximum packet forwarding speed. It uses a wavelength of 1 310 nm for both receiving and sending data. Other features of this module include the ability to be used as a standalone device (no chassis required) or with a TP-LINK 19' chassis, automatic MDI/MDI-X detection for the TX port, and front panel status LEDs.
