MC211CS-20 is an optical metallic WDM converter from RJ45 to optical SC connector. Its maximum throughput is 1000Mbps FD, which is matched by the Ethernet port that can communicate with your device 10/100/1000Mbps. The converter can be used over a distance of 20km with a single-mode (9/125um) optical fiber terminated with a single SC connector. The wavelength is 1550/1310nm (Tx/Rx) and for proper functionality you need to have preferably the MC212CS-20 model on the opposite side, which has opposite Tx and Rx than this model.
