The smart sensor is used to detect the opening or closing status of a window or door (cupboard, fridge, mailbox, ...) and is part of the Tapo smart home family. This sensor is powered by a small CR2023 battery with a long life, communicates wirelessly at 868/922 MHz with the control panel, which is necessary for the sensor to function. For easy tool-less installation on any flat surface, 3M double-sided adhesive tape is used on the back of the sensor.
