The TP-Link TL-RP108GE reverse-managed PoE switch has 8 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet ports. The first 7 ports are for individual subscribers to power this switch via passive 24V or 48V PoE, including 802.3af (Mode B only, 4.5+/7.8-) with 48V. The supply voltage is further passed to port 8 supporting passive PoE out, where a whole-house wireless unit or camera can be connected. Different input voltages can be connected to the POE-in ports, with the highest voltage always present at the output. In the event of a power failure from one client, the input voltage will automatically switch to the next available one. On the back there is also a DC output jack (5.5/2.1mm) with a switch between 5V and 12V. An integrated voltage converter takes care of the correct output voltage. Web management The switch is equipped with its own management, where you can e.g. set IP parameters, configure VLANs or many other useful L2 functions. PoE budget In the case of 24V PoE IN power supply, you can connect a device with a maximum power consumption of up to 10W to port 8, in the case of 48V power supply it is up to 26W.
