Ubiquiti AirFiber AF-5U, 1Gbps+, 5.7 - 6.2GHz (price per unit)
Code: ABCT_5299851Product detailed description
The most advanced current backbone technology in the 5 GHz band. With advanced HDD, eXtended Range, 1024QAM modulation technologies, it communicates at speeds up to 1.2+ Gbps.
The connection is operated in the free 5 GHz band, so you do not have to pay any licence fees for its operation. In addition to the standard TDD and FDD support, AirFiber has come up with a new HDD (Hybrid Division Duplexing) technology. AirFiber 5 also brings new xRT (eXtended Range Technology) enabling a maximum range of 100+ km. This, along with other innovative technologies and airOS F, creates a unique link that is very easy to operate and install and that achieves very high transmission speeds at very low latencies.
The new airFiber 5U will also offer visual indication of the units' status. LEDs will display RJ45 port status, GPS sync, current modulation and signal strength of both sides of the link, among other things. There is also an overload indication on the radio part. The signal strength is displayed by two segment displays. These are particularly useful when targeting the link over long distances.
The main advantages of the connection are
Frequency range 5725 - 6200MHz
High connection reliability
Transfer speeds up to 1.2+ Gbps
Long link range up to 100+ km depending on the regulation in the ground
Intelligent QoS
Easy installation
Unique robust QPSK xRT modulation for reliable connections even under adverse conditions and over long distances
GPS synchronisation
Channel widths 10, 20, 40 and 50 MHz
Modulation up to 1024QAM
Sophisticated visual signalling on the back
WARNING: The equipment cannot be operated in the Czech Republic according to the valid VO-R!
