The new dual-band bullet in aluminium housing as a successor of the airMAX series is a universal single-polarization radio unit with N-male connector that allows it to be mounted directly on the antenna. In addition to the commonly used 5GHz band, the unit also supports the 2.4GHz band. In both cases it is only compatible with other airMAX ac series products. The unit has a single Gbit Ethernet port that allows you to take advantage of the full capabilities of the 802.11ac standard. Power is supplied via a 24V/0.5A DC POE adapter, which, as with previous bullets, is not included. With a maximum channel width of 40MHz for the 2.4GHz band and 80MHz for the 5GHz band (for PtP mode), the compact radio boasts modulation speeds of 216Mbps in the 2.4GHz band and 433Mbps in the 5GHz band.
