UBNT ETH-SP-G2 is a surge protector from Ubiquiti networks for outdoor units. It is an effective protection for devices (including PoE powered devices) with connection speeds up to 1 Gbps, allowing harmful electrostatic discharges and surges to be redirected directly to the ETH-SP and ensuring safe grounding. Your network devices will always remain protected. The ETH-SP-G2 is equipped with two RJ-45 ports (input + output) and supports passive 24/48V as well as active 802.3af PoE power. Difference from the first generation The only difference from the first generation is the higher maximum peak current, which is 10kA. In the first generation, the peak current was a maximum of 5kA.
