The UBNT FiberPOE G2 is an affordable, gigabit, fiber-to-the-metal, outdoor converter that, in addition to converting data from fiber to metallic cable, can also provide power via PoE. Compared to the first generation, it can withstand a wider temperature range (-40 to 60°C). FiberPOE includes 2 Ethernet ports, 1 SFP slot and a DC terminal block. Power options: There are a total of 3 options for powering the converter: the first is a DC terminal block, the second and third are via RJ45 ports. The converter can therefore be powered from both Ethernet ports, however only the port marked as POE transmits data. All 3 options operate in the 16 to 50V DC range.
