Rocket2 AC is a base station that achieves high transmission speeds and stable connections even in densely congested environments thanks to the new airPRISM chip. The unit is only compatible with other 2.4GHz airMAX AC products and is designed for outdoor use, ideally in combination with sector antennas. The maximum modulation rate is 433Mbps at a channel width of 40Mhz. The patented airPRISM technology provides breakthrough radio selectivity in the unlicensed 2.4GHz band to reduce noise and increase throughput. The Rocket2 AC is housed in a metal enclosure for better shielding from surrounding APs. In addition, the device includes a GPS module (supported since version 8.3.1), an airPRISM circuit and an airView spectrum analyzer. Also new to this product is the airOS 8 operating system, which is more intuitive, supports ac protocol, plots real-time environmental clutter, constellation diagram, SNR value, and is designed to work even more efficiently overall.
