The UniFi Building Bridge (Building-to-Building Bridge) is a backbone bridge from the UniFi series with 1Gbps data throughput that operates in the 60 GHz band with a 5 GHz backup. The complete link is particularly suitable for short distance hopping, for example between buildings. In addition to the two UBB units, the package includes everything needed such as brackets and PoE adapters. The units can be managed and monitored via the UniFi Controller. The UniFi UBB has the advantage of a spirit level and an innovative articulated mount, which allows the antenna to be rotated to the desired position and precisely aimed. Legislation in the Czech Republic The installation and operation of the link must be carried out in accordance with the applicable general authorisation. The UBB is certified according to ETSI EN 302 567 for outdoor use, it is intended as a client in point-to-multipoint installations, it can also be used in point-to-point installations. According to the written statement of the CTU, the operation of these devices is possible according to VO-R/12, line d3 of table (b) technical parameters of the stations. The frequency range limitation for use is 57-66GHz.
