The Ubiquiti UniFi AC In-Wall is a very small and discreet 802.11ac UAP device for flush mounting. It is a 2x2 MIMO 2.4GHz and 2x2 MIMO 5GHz Acess Point with up to 1167 Mbps data rates and support for 802.11a/b/g/n/ac standards. The UAP-AC-IW is designed for offices and hotels. The antenna system includes 1 built-in antenna with a gain of 1dBi for the 2.4GHz band and 2dBi for the 5GHz band with a range of up to 25 meters. It also fully supports roaming when forwarding associated clients between APs. Furthermore, in terms of interfaces, the device includes 3x 10/100/1000Mbps LAN with PoE IN support on the rear port and PoE Out on the front port, always via 802.3af PoE. Power over PoE The UAP-AC-IW is designed to be as easy to use and install as possible, offering the highest level of features despite its low price. The UAP-AC-IW has a total of 3 Ethernet ports. The first port on the back is for powering the UAP-AC-IW via PoE using the 802.3af/at standard. You can use any UniFi switch or PoE adapter with 802.3af/at power support to power the UAP-AC-IW as well as a passive 48V adapter from UBNT. There are 2 more ports on the front - one for data only and the other with 802.3af PoE power support, e.g. for a VoIP phone. All Ethernet ports have a 10/100/1000Mbps transfer rate.
