The second generation of UniFi switches brings a number of changes and improvements, the switches have been rebuilt from the ground up. Compared to the first generation, the airflow used for cooling has been significantly improved, making it up to 4 times quieter* than the first generation. * at an ambient temperature of 25° and a POE power supply load of 25%, the switch is 3.6 times quieter * at an ambient temperature of 25° and a POE power supply load of 50%, the switch is 4.2x quieter * at an ambient temperature of 25° and a POE power supply load of 100%, the switch is 1.9 times quieter USW-Pro-48-POE Gen2 has a total of 48 ports with POE-Out function. Ports 1-40 support 802.3af/at, and ports 41-48 support 802.3bt (60W). The total POE budget is 600W (total power supply 660W, 60W switch power consumption). In case of power failure or internal power failure, the switch can be connected to a UniFi SmartPower backup system to support up to 6 supported devices. The touchscreen display instantly shows you the most important information such as error conditions, warnings, port statistics, consumption of connected devices, network utilization and more.
