UNI-T UT315 vibration measuring instrument
The UT315A is a precision vibration meter based on the piezoelectric principle and is designed for monitoring the mechanical condition of equipment, especially rotating and reciprocating machines. It is widely used in mechanical production, metallurgy, for inspection of rotating machinery in power generation, maintenance of electric motors (bearing and gearbox vibration, phase failures), automotive repair, elevator inspection and other industrial measurements. From vibration measurements it is possible to assess signs of equipment condition such as synchronous operation, balance faults, or loose parts.
The instrument can measure instantaneous or peak acceleration, velocity and magnitude of vibration deflections over a wide frequency range. A short measuring probe is factory connected for vibration measurement with a frequency of up to 10kHz. For inaccessible locations, a longer probe can be used from the accessory, but then the measurement is limited to 1kHz. A magnetic probe holder can also be used.
The measured values can be frozen on the display using the HOLD function. Up to 1999 measured data sets can be stored in the internal memory and later transferred via USB to a computer, where the data analysis software can be downloaded from the manufacturer's official website and installed in advance. The data can also be transferred in real time to the PC when measured at a certain interval, which can be set from 0.5 to 255 seconds.
This UT315A tester is powered by 9V battery, if you use alkaline battery (6F22), it can last more than 8 hours continuously measuring. With a zinc-manganese battery, it can work for about 3 hours.
