Where a fixture needs a larger 3/4″ outlet connection — a washing machine tap, an outside tap, or a larger appliance hose — this angle valve steps the line down from a 1/2″ supply while filtering out grit and scale through its built-in strainer before it reaches the connected device.

Being a corner (angle) design, it lets you turn the water flow 90° at the wall or floor penetration and shut it off locally, without disturbing the rest of the installation. Chrome-plated brass throughout gives long service life in wet utility areas.
