The solar car battery charger is designed for maintenance charging of the lead-acid battery of passenger cars, utility vehicles, caravans, boats, etc. during extended shutdown of the vehicle, e.g. during holidays, winter season, etc., when the battery is naturally self-discharging because the battery is not being recharged when the vehicle is in operation.

The solar charger thus eliminates the problem of starting the vehicle after a long period of time when the vehicle is out of service. The charger is designed for all types of 12V car batteries. Simply place the solar charger near the car window and plug it into the car's 12V cigarette lighter socket via the supplied power plug.
