BRA.T7.100 - threaded check valves (ball)
The BRA.T7.100 threaded check valves are ball-type non-return valves designed for use in liquid systems where flow reversal must be prevented. These valves operate using a free-moving steel ball coated with NBR, which seals against a precisely machined seat when flow direction changes. They are suitable for wastewater, viscous fluids, and agricultural applications. The valves are constructed from GJS 400-15 cast iron for the body and cap, ensuring durability in non-corrosive environments. Available in sizes from 1 inch to 3 inch (F/F thread type as per ISO 228-1 standard), they are intended for use in gravity-fed or low-pressure pumping systems.
These valves are not recommended for use with steam or gaseous media due to their sealing mechanism and material properties. They require a minimum forward pressure of 0.2 bar to operate correctly and a minimum back pressure of 0.5 bar to maintain closure. Installation should be carried out in horizontal or vertical positions with the flow direction aligned to the valve’s inlet and outlet orientation.
